The crypto chart game: real coins, no real money
Play rounds on real daily charts of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and ten other major coins. Crypto moves fast, which makes it a good place to learn position sizing before it costs anything.
How the crypto game works
- Spend a chip to startEach round uses one chip. You can hold up to 10, and one refills every 15 minutes.
- Read the first 40 candlesA real daily chart opens with 40 candles already on screen, so you have context before your first call.
- Buy, sell or holdSet a size with the slider, then buy at the current close or sell shares you hold. Or do nothing and wait.
- Reveal the next candleStep forward one candle at a time, or turn on auto-play. There are 60 candles to play.
- See your resultAnything you still hold is sold at the final close. You see your return next to what simply holding the whole time would have made.
Which coins are in the game
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Avalanche (AVAX), Chainlink (LINK), TRON (TRX), Stellar (XLM), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Sui (SUI). Prices are the coins' USDT trading pairs on Binance.
Why practice on crypto charts
- Daily ranges are wide, so a position that is too big shows up quickly.
- Crypto trades around the clock, so every daily candle is a full 24 hours with no overnight gaps.
- Trends and crashes are sharp. It is good practice for deciding in advance where you would get out.
Where the prices come from
Daily open, high, low, close and volume from Binance's public market data. Rounds start at random points in the history, so outcomes cannot be memorized.
Questions about the game
Which cryptocurrencies can I play?
Thirteen: BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, DOGE, AVAX, LINK, TRX, XLM, BCH, ETC and SUI, using their daily Binance USDT charts.
Is it the same game as the stock mode?
Yes. Same rules, same 40 plus 60 candle rounds, same virtual balance. Only the charts change.
Do I need a crypto wallet or exchange account?
No. Nothing connects to an exchange or wallet. Everything is virtual money on historical data.
Is it free?
Yes. Play as a guest for free. Rounds use chips that refill every 15 minutes.
More ways to play
One Candle Ahead is a practice game with virtual money on historical data. It is not investment advice, and past prices do not predict future results.
